Our extensive partnerships and collaborations, here in Australia and around the world, mean that when our researchers make a discovery, it can be quickly communicated and transformed into a practical treatment for children in hospitals and the community.

Our unique position allows us to translate discoveries in laboratory, clinical and public health research into real benefits to help give children the opportunity to live healthy and fulfilled lives.

Benefits of this collaboration

Our researchers gain invaluable access to patients for research purposes, clinical data, and expertise through this integrated approach, surpassing the opportunities available in most medical research institutes worldwide. This allows us to enhance the quality of care for children and ensure the swift translation of research findings into real benefits including the development of novel therapies, participation in cutting-edge research studies, training future clinical leaders, and attracting top-tier clinicians from around the globe.

The Melboune Children's is supported by The Royal Children’s Hospital Foundation and is located at a single, purpose-built, and multi-award-winning campus in the heart of Melbourne.
